Would you like to learn how to curl?

Learn to Curl

This is a structured event where someone who has never curled before can come out and Learn to Curl. These events give New Curlers the opportunity to learn how to play and see if they like it before becoming a member. Attending a Learn to Curl is not a requirement to register for membership, but is highly recommended.

The curling ice house is cold! Wear layers of comfortable clothes and clean shoes (sweatshirts, sweatpants and running shoes are recommended). Curling equipment is available to borrow. Proper fitting safety equipment (such as a helmet or Ice Halo) is not provided, but is recommended for all participants, especially children.

Learn to Curls are generally organized at the beginning of the season. See the Calendar for a schedule of events for more information.

Fun Nights

Unlike a Learn to Curl, a Fun Night isn’t as structured or as detailed. Fun Nights are open to members and non-members of varying degrees of curling experience. There is a very brief, informal instruction period for those who want it and then teams are put together to play a fun game of curling. Afterwards, participants are invited to socialize and enjoy a snack.
